For all those who've played Requiem of the Goddess, what did you think of it? Did it fill in the gaps felt untraveled by XIII-2; was Serah and Lightning's reunion everything you wanted it to be or vice versa?

STARTER QUESTIONS! (humor me):
  1. What do you all think of it so far?
  2. How is the story and the character progression/development?
  3. Are the improvements to the gameplay better or worse than XIII

Overall if you want to use this thread to discuss or gush about the game, you can. Spoilers aren't outlawed, but if you feel the need to warn anyone just leave "SPOILER" in the subject bar of the comments.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 debuts in Japan December 15, 2011. How many of Final Fantasy or XIII fans plan on importing, watching Japanese Walkthroughs when they begin circulating around the web or waiting for Janurary 31st, 2012 to indulge in XIII-2 contents?

NOW HERE'S something I've never heard before, but can completely see where these theorists are coming from. Apparently there's speculation that there the rather unexplored relationship between Serah and Lightning is mirrored in two manners throughout the game. Through Fang and Vanille and Snow's summon, the Shiva Sisters (Stiria and Nix):

[...]I’ve heard that Fang and Vanille were supposed to be the Pulse versions of Lightning and Serah.
…But I’ve also heard that the Shiva sisters were supposed to represent Lightning and Serah as well, so who knows?[...] [++]

Now the first I could definitely get behind, seeing as Fang and Vanille are rather much like Serah and Lighting, without the barrier of angst fortified and lack of screentime. However, the Shiva sisters I'm rather leery on, seeing as, to me, their representative of a sexual innuendo, seeing as Snow rides their asses when they pull of TRANSFORMERS and become the almighty motorcycle of iciness (and I can't be the only person who had this pop up in their brains after the awe of "oh, hey, that's coolers" passed).
