The upcoming multiplatform title, “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII,” will be the third game in the “Final Fantasy XIII” series. So how come the game isn’t called “Final Fantasy XIII-3” in a similar manner to “Final Fantasy XIII-2?” In an interview with 4Gamer on Sunday (translated by Final Fantasy Network), Yoshinori Kitase offered an interesting explanation.
