At a Square Enix Members event, producer Yoshinori Kitase fielded a few questions about Final Fantasy XIII-2 kindly transcribed by an attendee. Someone in the audience asked for more details about the game’s downloadable content.

Kitase reminded the group about the costumes and Omega encounter, which were previously announced and said the game would have additional scenarios. Another person asked if characters from Final Fantasy XIII for battle use would be DLC. Kitase said this is under consideration and further details about DLC will be announced after the game launches. [SOURCE]

Square Enix has highlighted some of the best features of their upcoming RPG in a new trailer and set of screenshots for Final Fantasy XIII-2. In the trailer below, you'll find a walkthrough of the enhanced battle system in the game, a quick look at training monsters to do your bidding, and the new customization options found in the sequel.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will hit North America on January 31st, 2012, and is currently launching in Japan, where the game scored a perfect 40/40 in Famitsu. [SOURCE]

From the recent ‘Judge XIII’ event put on by Square Enix, a lengthy look at the actual gameplay of ‘Final Fantasy XIII-2′ is here. Graphics to combat, the game looks terrific.



if the recently released in-depth walkthrough of new features didn’t give enough of a look at the game in action, then you’re in luck. The game was put on display at Square Enix‘s ‘Judge XIII’ event this week, and as a result we have almost ten minutes of gameplay footage, narrated by an extremely enthusiastic Japanese celebrity. If you speak Japanese then you’re even luckier.
